SAM® Pelvic Sling

The SAM® sling is a non-invasive, easy to use, reusable device, which can be applied by paramedics at the accident scene or by medical and nursing staff in hospital to individuals who have, or are suspected of having, a pelvic ring or lateral pelvic fracture.

It effectively reduces and stabilises pelvic fractures and is the first and only pelvic belt or binder to contain a buckle programmed to engage when the correct amount of constrictive pressure is applied. This protects the patient from further injury and allows for safe application on scene by ordinary EMS personnel.

The SAM® sling will not present a hazard or risk to a patient undergoing an MRI procedure using an MR system operating at 3-Tesla or less.

Small - 69cm to 119cm

Standard - 81cm to 127cm

Large - 91cm to 152cm
